Origin: Belgium/China

Extraction Process : steam distillation

Perfume Note : Green top note.

 

Extraction Description : Oil by steam distillation from the rhizomes.

Scent Description : Warm, woody, balsamic, musky odour

 

Valerian Root Essential Oil. Stress releasing and relaxing, therefore good to use at night (external use only). Only one or two drops of Valerian may be necessary to vapourise or massage with the following essential oils in a carrier. Add petitgrain, orange or mandarin to improve the overpowering aroma. If the aroma is too much for some people spikenard is a good substitute.

 

In medieval times it was called ‘all heal'. A traditional nerve tonic.
